Solid is a condominium development designed to embody the values of solid construction, community, and lifestyle. Built on the site of the former Dai Tung Chinese Restaurant, the owners envisioned using their land to revitalize East Vancouver by offering functional homes that enhance the Kingsway lifestyle.
The design features geometric lines inspired by the building’s exterior, creating a cohesive visual connection. Bold colors are used to match the unique character of the multicultural neighborhood, enhancing its vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, the distinctive logo incorporates two columns to symbolize stability, reinforcing a sense of strength and reliability.
iD Design’s creative team offers stylish, space-efficient floor plans with luxury wide-plank, wood-look laminate flooring and a versatile color palette. Airy 9' ceilings and large windows fill the living spaces with natural light, while recessed LED pot lights add a modern touch. Each home includes a private outdoor space, such as a balcony, patio, or deck. In the heart of the home, the kitchen combines elegance and function. The L-shaped layout is perfect for cooking and entertaining, with dual-tone cabinetry, LED undercabinet lighting, and a solid quartz backsplash. Luxury quartz countertops are durable and resistant to scratches, heat, stains, and impacts.
